Season 2, Episode 1: "Ilsa Pucci"
Air Date: November 17, 2010
The episode opens forty-eight hours into Winston's kidnapping and the brutal
interrogation has yielded some fruit for the bad guy from last season. But a
rescue plan is in play as the kidnappers escort Winston into a bank to retrieve
a book locked in a safety deposit box. Posing as bank security guards, Chance
and Guerrero observe their friend, surrounded by the bad guys, being hustled for
the banks exit. When rescue Plan A fails (Chance sets off a robbery alarm - a
SILENT alarm), he sets off a fire alarm, eliciting an armed stand-off between
kidnappers, banks security, Chance, Guerrero and a bomb-strapped Winston.
Suffice it to say, Chance prevails.
Flash forward six months to an ashram in Nepal. Chance, in the midst of
contemplative monks, is deep in meditation, perhaps achieving his version of
nirvana. A helicopter descends into this isolated landscape, bringing a
powerful, wealthy woman, Ilsa Pucci, and her security team to bring Chance back
to the U.S.
Ilsa tells Chance that she is being tailed and, since one of her security was
killed, this assassin means her harm. Chance determines the threat wants to be
discovered since his assassin allowed Ilsa's security to spot him. Chance wants
to use Ilsa as bait to lure out the threat so Ilsa agrees to proceed with a
planned charity event she hosts.
The gala aka The Trap begins. Guerrero, Winston and Chance eye the guests. We
learn that Ilsa's husband recently died in a plane crash in Switzerland and we
meet Shelly, the family lawyer. Winston senses something from a female security
guard, then notices the same woman later dressed in evening attire. This is Ames,
pure trouble (and the new HT cast member). The team keeps an eye on her and
several other suspicious guests.
Later, Ilsa is kidnapped and aboard a plane bound for
Switzerland. Her captor is Shelly, who reveals she is in cahoots with Ilsa's
not-actually-deceased husband. The plan is to clean out Ilsa's bank accounts for
which both spouses must be present to engage the retinal scan. Meanwhile, the
team captures and interrogates Ames, sure that she will reveal who is behind the
kidnapping. She confesses Fat Tony hired her to switch the ring Ilsa was
wearing. However, Fat Tony is dead and Ames knows she's next in track-cleaning,
so convinces the team to bring her in on the take-down. Checking flights out of
San Francisco after the party, they discovered one to Switzerland,
coincidentally the land of private banks and where Ilsa's husband's flight went
down. The new gang of four give chase, knowing this will lead them to Ilsa.

Season 2, Episode 2: "The Wife's Tale"
Air Date: November 24, 2010
In a flashback, Chance poses as a repairman in the isolated San Francisco home
of Daniel Brooks, sent to do him in.
Excerpt:
Guerrero: "Bring the car around. We'll put him in the trunk."
Ames: "The trunk? Really? Will he fit?"
Guerrero: "The 1998 Cadillac Eldorado has the largest trunk of any
late-'90's American coupe. Get the damn car."

Season 2, Episode 3: "Taking Ames"
Air Date: December 1, 2010
Winston: "She better be worth this. Some people, they can't be saved."
Chance: "If you believed that, you wouldn't be sitting here with me."
Winston: "Be careful in there. I'm serious. That's a room of hardened
criminals."
Chance (smiles): "Just my element."

Season 2, Episode 4: "The Return of Baptiste"
Air Date: December 8, 2010
Chance: "I need custody of the prisoner Baptiste. Police matter."
Warden: "You have authorization?"
Chance: "Yep, got it right here."
[Chance removed a credit card from his pocket, tosses it on the desk. The
warden looks up at him.]
Chance: "That, my friend, is a Bank of Zurich Black Card. Airport
club access... Concierge service... No spending limit."
[The warden reacts. He certainly understands that last part.]
Chance: "I'll have Baptiste back to you in forty-eight hours. Until
then, go nuts."
Chance turns to his nemesis, Baptiste (Lennie James), for help when Ilsa's
friend is held hostage.

Season 2, Episode 5: "Dead Head"
Air Date: December 15, 2010]
When Chance and the team help a client suffering from retrograde amnesia
discover who he is and why someone is out to kill him, Winston is forced to ask
his ex-wife for help.
Michelle: "Congratulations. I'm happy for you, Laverne, I truly am."
Winston: "Who knows. Maybe things would have been different between you
and me if I'd gotten him back then."
Michelle: "If it wasn't Broward, it was some other crime boss, some drug
dealer, some other bad guy you were consumed with taking down. You have a
laser-like focus on whatever's in your sights. But that focus was never on us."
Winston: "You're right. You deserved better."
Michelle: "We both did."

Season 2, Episode 6: "The Other Side of the
Mall"
Air Date: December 22, 2010
Guerrero: "I just lifted his keys."
Chance: "I kinda think a placed-tracker beats lifted-keys, don't you? I
mean, with all due respect... "
Guerrero: "Uh, no, I don't. And while we're expressing our opinions...
A janitor? You're cover is "office temp," and I'm a
janitor?"
Chance: "You got a problem with an honest day's work?"
Guerrero: "Uh, yeah, actually."
When a murder attempt is made on a seemingly innocuous family, Chance (Mark
Valley) and the team must travel to their version of hell during the holiday
season - suburbia, where Chance and Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) go undercover
at a boring corporate office, Winston (Chi McBride) joins a neighborhood book
club and Ames (Janet Montgomery) chaperones a high-school party as they try to
figure out which family member is being targeted and why. John Michael Higgins
("Arrested Development," "For Your Consideration") guest-stars in the episode.

Guerrero: "None of your business. I don't talk about my private life.
Ever.
Maria: "Why do you and Winston dislike me so much?"
Guerrero: "Can't speak for Winston, but I believe when emotions get
involved in the work we do, things go bent."
Maria: "I agree." [a bad lie] "Chance and I are just old friends."
Guerrero: "You're kidding, right? You seen Chance's face since you showed
up? Guy hasn't stopped grinning. It's off-putting."
Followed by the second-hour episode:

Breakdown"
Air Date: January 5, 2011 [9 pm - 10 pm]

and are losing altitude rapidly... We had an MTI just before impact. I'm
assuming birdstrike, perhaps multiple birds... "
Chance: "Did you hear that impact? That was no bird, that was a missile."
Pilot: "A missile? Why would someone be shooting missiles at us... ?"
Chance: "I think motive is probably a question for a later date. What's
our rate of descent?"
Pilot: "One-five-zero-zero-one feet per minute -- "
Chance: "I'm sorry, is that your emergency checklist?"
Pilot: "Yes, why?"
[Chance takes the co-pilots seat]
Ilsa: "What the hell are you doing?"
Chance: "Nothing a thousand other thugs couldn't do. Go strap in."
Ilsa [to Chance]: "This man is a professional pilot - get out of
his way."
Chance: By the time this man finds out there's nothing in the emergency
manual about surface-to-air missile hits, this thing is gonna be over. I
recommend you go put on a seatbelt unless you wanna end up as a hood ornament
when we hit the ground."
Chance, to the pilot: "Man, if we end up having to eat each other
down there, can we agree she's first up?"

there, my only insurance."

joins the team in the field, setting up the take-down.
Ames: "I can tell, you haven't even... You know...
Chance: "Ames."
Ames: "Anyway, I'd like to help. I've got this friend, Melanie. You guys
would get along great. She's really friendly."
Guerrero (off screen, over earpiece): "20 meters. Security's out front. I
think we're gonna get inspected."

he meets with his beautiful medical charity worker and, perhaps, his mistress.
They've uncovered an illegal weapons trade using their charity to hide the
activity and both Marshall and Julia are in danger. Now, in the present,
Julia approaches Ilsa and the team to help her uncover the bad guys who killed
Marshall - or did they?
Chance's investigation into Ilsa's late husband's past uncovers a web of
deception and lies that may tear the team part forever.
